The room was big for Korean standard, sheets are white and crisp, and all the amenities like shampoo, toothbrush, water bottles etc. were provided. There’s also limited free parking available and if not, there are free parking available on the streets next to the hotel. The night manager was very kind and waited until we arrived before taking leave for the night.

Ulsan is a major city located in the southeastern part of South Korea. It is known for its industrial significance and is often referred to as the "Industrial Capital of South Korea" due to its prominence in the country's automotive and shipbuilding industries. Additionally, the city is surrounded by scenic mountains, offering outdoor recreational opportunities. Tourists visiting Ulsan can explore industrial attractions like Hyundai Motor's Ulsan Plant, which offers factory tours, and Jangsaengpo Whale Cultural Village, which provides insights into the city's history of whaling. Ulsan has a rich cultural heritage, with historical sites like the Bangudae Petroglyphs, which are ancient rock carvings dating back thousands of years, and the Daewangam Park, known for its scenic views and cultural significance.
The main mode of transport in Ulsan is BUS, and there are lots of bus to travel to the destination you plan to go. It is really easy to get around Ulsan.

Fascinating Ulsan City Tours.
Fascinating Ulsan City Tours. We took the Industrial tour and visited a salt factory, Hyundai car manufacturer and the port loading the cars before visiting the massive ship building yard. All very informative even though we had to read the English signs as the tour guide only speaks Korean

Great place but no more than a few days.
Great place but no more than a few days. Great parks and wildlife within. Good places to eat. People friendly and easy to go into local eatery and not feel intimidated. Would visit again as part of a holiday where I spent a few days in any one location.
The Bird Village Guesthouse was located in the heart of bird village in Ulsan. It was our first time in Ulsan, but I would certainly say it was a nice and charming quiet neighborhood. The owner was a kind woman who greeted us when we entered and helped us get settled. We had no problem parking right outside. The price was fair, especially split between several travelers we saved money and still had a more unique experience than staying in a hotel.
We had brunch sets in the restaurant for about $20. The lady in charge was diligent and kind. Our brunch consisted of a plate of French toast with cream cheese and coffee and another plate of toast and sausage and scrambled eggs that both came with black coffee. We had thought it was a bit pricey but the taste was very delicious. We recommend trying it if you want to stay in the hotel to relax. The ambience of this place is lovely.
It was our third staying in Hotel Toyoka in Korea - two previous were in Incheon and Busan, and all of them were great! First of all, rooms are not very big, but they are quite nice to stay in for a night. Breakfast was good as always (it is included in the price) :) There were both Korean and American cuisine, so everyone could easily find something to eat for a breakfast :)
Honestly I loved feeling like a little heiress in my suite. I dream of how big and adorable the room was compared to other Korean hotels I’ve been to. The vanity was also a great touch and the electric toilet was great. They do have a iron but it’s a journey to get to it if you want to use it. The bed was super plush and comfortable.
Fantastic room and bathroom with all the facilities we needed and in a great location. The breakfast was excellent, in a free self service "snack cafe" that we could access anytime - with coffee, noodles, toast, eggs. Definitely the best hotel I've stayed in in Korea, and very good value for money!
The staff at this hotel were very kind and helpful. I felt like everyone in the hotel was eager to help me with what I needed even the employees who I passed in the halls greeted me kindly. The room was very nice and the bed was amazingly soft. I will definitely come here often.
Amazing views from the beach front rooms. The hotel is newly renovated, so everything is still new. If you're looking to break away and just relax, then this hotel is great for that. In terms of places to eat, there is not much around and everything closes relatively early.
Renovated hotel right on the beach. Room is spacious and clean. The spa room that we had was pretty good and relaxing. Location is ok, close to a few restaurants. But Ulsan itself will require a 30 minutes drive. It's the choice to make between the beach and the city.
The location is perfect, the room was modern , clean and smelled really good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was easy to find the hotel on e map.
It’s absolutely nice and great value for money! I can’t want to book again ! I loved the hotel 100%
The hotel has great access to the beach. It is also close to many restuarants and convineance stores. We had a comfortable stay and the rooms also have a small kitchen which is useful. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
My husband and I loved everything about Hotel Daoom! The staff was amazing and so kind, the rooms are so beautiful, clean and comfortable. We slept so good in our beds and would always choose this Hotel over any other!:)
The location is perfect for Hyundai Arts Center. We saw a concert there and walked from the hotel to the theater within 15 minutes. The main room has a lot of open space. The kitchenette is very convenient.
The Brand Shilla is quite well known brand in Korea. It is run by Samsung Group and they like to keep their reputation. So it was as expected. I would suggest to anyone who wants to stay in Ulsan.
The hotel was centrally located. A five minute walk from the bus terminals. The room was small, but very clean and comfortable! They gave me more towels and a water bottle for my second night.
the location. bus stops in front of hotel!! walking distance to visitor information booth by lotte mall & close to shopping/restaurants/Daiso…. helpful staffs & speaks good English!!!
