This place is clean. It’s right across the street from the beach and steps away from CU, 7/11, and countless 노래방, 포차, cafes, restaurants, etc. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Ulsan is a major city located in the southeastern part of South Korea. It is known for its industrial significance and is often referred to as the "Industrial Capital of South Korea" due to its prominence in the country's automotive and shipbuilding industries. However, despite its industrial reputation, Ulsan boasts natural beauty, including beaches along the East Sea (Sea of Japan), such as Ilsan Beach and Jinha Beach. Additionally, the city is surrounded by scenic mountains, offering outdoor recreational opportunities. Tourists visiting Ulsan can explore industrial attractions like Hyundai Motor's Ulsan Plant, which offers factory tours, and Jangsaengpo Whale Cultural Village, which provides insights into the city's history of whaling. Ulsan has a rich cultural heritage, with historical sites like the Bangudae Petroglyphs, which are ancient rock carvings dating back thousands of years, and the Daewangam Park, known for its scenic views and cultural significance.
The main mode of transport in Ulsan is BUS, and there are lots of bus to travel to the destination you plan to go. It is really easy to get around Ulsan.

Fascinating Ulsan City Tours.
Fascinating Ulsan City Tours. We took the Industrial tour and visited a salt factory, Hyundai car manufacturer and the port loading the cars before visiting the massive ship building yard. All very informative even though we had to read the English signs as the tour guide only speaks Korean

Great place but no more than a few days.
Great place but no more than a few days. Great parks and wildlife within. Good places to eat. People friendly and easy to go into local eatery and not feel intimidated. Would visit again as part of a holiday where I spent a few days in any one location.
We liked our breakfast buffet and thought the staff were really helpful. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Keep in mind that you will need a taxi if coming from Ulsan station rather than Taehwagang Station. There are buses available, but we didn't use them due to taxis being the quicker option. So many amenities are a walking distance away, and you are not far from the intercity bus terminal, which we used to go to Gyeongju. We will definitely stay here again.
The Bird Village Guesthouse was located in the heart of bird village in Ulsan. It was our first time in Ulsan, but I would certainly say it was a nice and charming quiet neighborhood. The owner was a kind woman who greeted us when we entered and helped us get settled. We had no problem parking right outside. The price was fair, especially split between several travelers we saved money and still had a more unique experience than staying in a hotel.
Dear Hyeon Ji Woo, General Manager of the Hotel Riverside
Thank you very much for your support given during our stay in Hotel River Side. The reception staff did not help us in englisch very much. BUT your support was the best we had in South Korea so far.
Even you helped us personally in finding a place to extend our SIM card for one month. WOW.
Thank you very much for this special service.
It was our third staying in Hotel Toyoka in Korea - two previous were in Incheon and Busan, and all of them were great! First of all, rooms are not very big, but they are quite nice to stay in for a night. Breakfast was good as always (it is included in the price) :) There were both Korean and American cuisine, so everyone could easily find something to eat for a breakfast :)
Honestly I loved feeling like a little heiress in my suite. I dream of how big and adorable the room was compared to other Korean hotels I’ve been to. The vanity was also a great touch and the electric toilet was great. They do have a iron but it’s a journey to get to it if you want to use it. The bed was super plush and comfortable.
The hotel has updated facilities and very friendly staff! My room had a view of the harbour so I really enjoyed watching sunrise and sunset, as well as the beautiful night view. The room was beautiful and I also really enjoyed the bath which is not a very common feature in Korean hotels, but something I really appreciated!
Our three-day stay at the hotel was fantastic. The minimally decorated yet spacious room comfortably accommodated my family of four, impeccably clean throughout. The sunrise from our room on the 6th floor was an amazing experience. We're already planning to return next year.
The location is perfect, the room was modern , clean and smelled really good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was easy to find the hotel on e map.
It’s absolutely nice and great value for money! I can’t want to book again ! I loved the hotel 100%
The room was nice and clean, the bathtub is amazing and the staff are very friendly. The rooms with and ocean view, gives the guest a beautiful outlook on the harbor. The hotel is situated very close to quite a few tourist attractions.
It was quiet, clean and spacious. The kitchen was great to have in a hotel setting. The view was amazing, just really beautiful. It was comfortable over all. And the price was great for the offer. Friendly staff members too.
Great location and very comfortable stay at Shilla Stay in Ulsan. Spacious room with all amenities needed. Check-in staff very friendly and provided fast service. Will definetively stay there again next time.
