Samcheok city is called as the clearest nature with blue stone walls because long coast and high mountain are around there. The scenery here is mellow and ranked in first one among the eight famous spots in Eastern Korea. Also you can take sea train from Samcheok to Jeongdongjin.
Meet our staff at the shuttle bus stop at the Jamsil sports complex station where you will receive information about the tour. You will also be provided tickets to the Samcheok Sea Train for your afternoon activity.
After your briefing, you will take a shuttle bus at 8:40am and arrive at Samchoek Sol Beach Resort at around 12:30pm.
Enjoy lunch (at your own expense) and some free time to explore before leaving the resort at 1:30pm for the Samcheok Sea Train. The train station is just outside of the resort and it will take you 10 minutes to walk. The train will arrive at 3:53pm.
The Samcheok Sea Train is a special sightseeing train that runs along the coastline of the East Sea from Samcheok to Jeongdongjin. On the train, visitors will have unobstructed views of the ocean. Pass by famous attractions such as Jeongdongjin Beach, Mukho Port and Samcheok Beach. This train stops at 6 stations and you will get off at Jeongdongjin, the last station.
After arriving at Jeongdongjin station, you will meet our taxi driver and he will take you back to the resort. Check in to your room, enjoy the resort and relax for the rest of the evening. The Sol Beach Resort Samcheok opened in June 2016. The whole building exterior is motivated by Santorini, Greece, with white walls and blue roofs, harmonious with the green and blue ocean.
Next morning, enjoy breakfast at the resort. After breakfast, you will a few hours to enjoy at leisure until 1pm. You can visit Samcheok Beach, a vast white-sand beach surrounded by pine tree forests. It has a beautiful environment, which has made it a popular filming location for Korean movies and dramas. Another suggestion is to try the Samcheok Ocean Railbike, which is about 20 minutes by taxi from the resort. This family-friendly activity involves a four-wheeled bike on a rail, where you get to enjoy a relaxing ride while observing beautiful views of the East Sea. There are rest stops, an observation lounge and other attractions along the way.
You will take shuttle bus at 2pm from the same place where you were dropped off the day before. Head back to Seoul and arrive Jamsil Sports Complex at around 5:30pm.
