This 8.5-hour tour takes you to some of the most famous attractions in Seoul, such as the Jogye Temple, Cheongwadae, Gyeongbok Palace and the Insadong cultural district. After enjoying a delicious Korean style lunch, visit the Korean Folk Village at Yongin.

You will be picked up from your hotel in Seoul in the morning. Enjoy your comfortable mini-van ride to each attraction with a very informative professional tour guide. 

Your first destination is Jogye Temple. The beautiful lotus lanterns are hanging on the ceiling that contain lots of people’s wishes and prayers.

After your Jogye Zen Buddhism Temple tour, you will go through the high-security area nearby to see the Cheongwadae Presidential Blue House. Then, visit the famous Gyeongbok Palace, the main palace for the king of the Joseon Dynasty. There used to be guards that protect the main entrance like the security in front of the Presidential Blue House. Watch the changing of the Royal Guard ceremony before entering the palace. While walking around the grounds, listen to your guide’s commentary about the history behind each building in the royal palace.

You will stop by Insadong which is famous for antique stores, private galleries, and Korean restaurants. You will enjoy your delicious Korean cuisine lunch here. 

After lunch, you will be led to the Korean Folk Village. You will see many Korean traditional buildings and staff working in the village wearing Hanbok, the traditional Korean costume. You might also have an opportunity to view interesting performance shows.

After your full-day tour, you will be dropped back off to your hotel in Seoul.

Note: Gyeongbok Palace is closed on Tuesdays and will be replaced by Deoksu Palace.
