Seodaemun Prison History Hall is a museum and former prison in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. Here you will learn about the mistreatment of activists who fought for Korea’s independence.
Jeongdong-gil, which is packed with fancy cafes and lined with trees, is designated as one of the most beautiful streets in Korea. There is more than meets the eye as this location holds deep historical roots.
Please note that Seodaemun Prison History Hall and Deoksugung Palace are closed every Monday and some national holidays.
