On this 9 hour small-group tour, you can experience the Korean province with a comfortable means of transportation. You will visit Nami Island, where a famous and popular drama was filmed and enjoy the nature surround you each season. Then, you will visit the Garden of Morning Calm with thousands of varieties of flowers coupled with pine trees. This is popular as one of the greatest gardens in Korea with plants, trees, and flowers that harmonize and balance modern beauty and classic grace.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Seoul and taken to Nami Island. It will take approximately one hour from Seoul. During this time, your guide will tell you about Nami Island. After arrival at the pier at Gapyeong, you will get a ferry to Nami Island for 10 minutes. On Nami Island, you can explore the beautiful natural environment where a well-known drama, “Winter Sonata,” was filmed.
After leaving Nami Island, go back to pier by ferry and you will have a lunch at the restaurant which is serving famous local food, Dakgalbi or spicy chicken rib. If you don’t like a spicy food, you can have the roasted chicken instead.
Then after lunch, you will move to the Garden of Morning Calm where was the concept of a “garden” was first adopted in Korea. It is a special place that harmonizes classical grace and modern beauty.
Leaving the Garden of Morning Calm, you will go back to Seoul and stop by a Korean Ginseng center before being dropped off at your hotel.
