Spend a day on the world-class ski slopes of Yongpyong Resort, home to the World Cup Ski Competition and the Asian Winter Games. With a full-day ski pass to the lifts and gondola, plus full ski gear and clothing included, it’s easy to enjoy Korea’s winter wonderland, where you have more than 30 slopes to choose from. Hotel pickup and drop-off, plus round-trip ski shuttle bus, are included to this modern ski mecca located approximately 125 miles (200 km) from Seoul.

Former host of the World Cup Ski Competition and the Asian Winter Games, the Yongpyong Resort offers more than 30 world-class slopes to ski or snowboard during Korea’s winter season. Especially popular among South Korean youth as one of the country’s best ski destinations, Yongpyong is also known as a film location for the TV drama Winter Sonata.
After hotel pickup in Seoul, board the shuttle bus to the Yongpyong Resort for a full day of winter fun. Your ski pass includes complimentary ski gear, so you’ll be fitted for skis, boots and poles at an on-site ski rental shop (or bring along your own snowboard) before heading to the slopes. You can also get fitted for ski clothing — jacket, pants and gloves — if you require it.
Then ride the lifts or gondola to a selection of beginner, intermediate or advanced ski slopes to suit every level. Gaze out at the stunning scenery on Yongpyong Mountain, located 2,300 feet (700 meters) above sea level with an average of 98 inches (250 cm) of snowfall each year.
Whenever you’re ready to take a break, choose from several restaurants for lunch or enjoy a hot beverage (own expense). At the end of the day, just hop back on the ski shuttle bus back to Seoul, with drop-off at your hotel.
